so it gets held up today and given the kid glove treatment...
i'm sure they will give it a different ride at some point...
probably when there is a bit of juice in East Lothian.

i just get hacked off with these numpties Honcho...
how a steward can watch that and do nowt is just laughable...
it's blatantly obvious the BHA do as little as possible to police the sport properly...
no wonder connections take advantage of the clowns.

And yet according to the fella interviewed by one of Chamberlain’s lot at Newmarket the other day every race is watched, scrutinised and examined in running and in immediate aftermath on multiple screens.

doesn't mean to say they act upon what they see imv...
it's been discussed on here many times...
it's blatantly obvious the BHA want things swept under the carpet so that it makes the sport look like it's 99.999999999% clean...
it's just taking the mug public for a ride quite frankly...
but as i said you can fool some of the people some of the time...

meanwhile someone who went for a job at the integrity department got kneecapped at the first hurdle...
you couldn't find somebody more suitable for the job imv...
thanx but no thanx...
it told me a hell of a lot tbh.

never heard him speak and i don't want to either coz it will just be the usual guff telling us all how clean the game is...
fortunately we're not all fools.
i think he might be from Down Under Honcho...not sure...never heard him speak and i don't want to either coz it will just be the usual guff telling us all how clean the game is...fortunately we're not all fools.
i've got no idea how anyone can have a pre-race bet tbh Honcho...
the sport is a complete farce if you ask me...
when the authorities turn a blind eye...
the media says nowt...
it's hardly surprising connections adopt a 'oh well we may as well just do what we want coz nobody is going to stop us' attitude imv.

Mullen wasn't exactly at risk of over-exerting himself on Zaphea (2.40) either. She was quite keen early on, but once switched to the outer, she was barely nudged along imo.

strange he never gets invited in to the stewards room tbh...
like i say even jockeys and trainers know the BHA has an agenda so why not take advantage of it ?
total farce imv.
i'll take a look at that one GEORGE...strange he never gets invited in to the stewards room tbh...like i say even jockeys and trainers know the BHA has an agenda so why not take advantage of it ?total farce imv.
I don't think that was particularly bad today for a horse that's been off 7 months. I will bet though the horses next 2 or 3 runs might be a bit more of interest

Hibby, your one, 'using the race course as a schooling ground' used to be the charge, in this day and age with AW gallops etc every horse 'can' be fit enough to perform, that one clearly wasn't. Nothing in the stewards report.

yes he went from one side of the pack to the other GEORGE...
then not much effort (apart from flapping elbows) inside the final furlong...
no idea what he was doing at the line...
looked to me like he nearly came off ?
maybe he got over-excited watching the Goldie horse get up on the line ?

It probably won't but what can they do about today, slow away, how can you prove that was deliberate, blew up in the straight, off 7 months, every chance it did and very hard to prove it didn't.

all this 'they need a run' stuff is just complete and utter garbage...
if they want the horse fit they can get it fit...
if they want the horse having a jolly old nice day out at the races then that's what it gets...
we'll do what we want...
we'll do what we want...
this is horse racing...
we'll do what we want (and the mug public can go fk themselves).
stewards don't care swifty...i didn't expect them to ask a Q tbh...all this 'they need a run' stuff is just complete and utter garbage...if they want the horse fit they can get it fit...if they want the horse having a jolly old nice day out at the ra
they could have pulled Mullen in and ask him why he stopped riding with 2 furlongs to go the dealer...
and headed for the far rail...
and why the change in tactics from made all to held up way out the back ?
if they wanted to ask some Q's they could have...
they just didn't want to.

as i said this ain't the first time Mullen has just downed tools with 2 furlongs to go the dealer...
he does it a lot imv...
never get's hauled in for it tho...
strange that.

doesn't mean you should be allowed to give a horse 'a run' without being asked about it the dealer...
maybe they have brought in a new rule that if you're horse hasn't ran for 7 months you can do what you want and nobody will bother ?
quite possibly coz the folk running the sport are utter clowns imv.

Hibby it's only my opinion, absolutely no reason to get sarcastic about it, imo that run today didn't need to be looked at.
You obviously feel differently and I have no issue with that.

of all the times i've started a thread about jockeys rides i can not think of one time you have agreed the dealer...
so it came as no surprise you disagree with this one tbh...
wake up man...
how obvious do you want it to be before you will agree ?

I've watched the Bint race hibb, he was niggling before the 3 pole and it found nowt. As dealer says it possibly needed it, but the tactics didn't get it beat today imo.

the stopping riding it for the last two furlongs...
you'll see a different story when they are looking for a W imv.
it wasn't there to win today saddo...the hold up tactics...the stopping riding it for the last two furlongs...you'll see a different story when they are looking for a W imv.
just had a look at the seller win at Musselburgh...
set a decent pace...
slowed it up turning for home...
kicked away to win convincingly last two furlongs...
wouldn't be the biggest surprise to me if they aim the horse for that same race...
probably after a couple of duck eggs in the meantime.
