Went to Spurs cos they bought his mum and dad a house. SAF thought he was getting him.   Imagine him, Scholes and Roy Keane in the same midfield?

Did you see the documentary on him? Where he told of doing the Flute celebration after a goal at Rangers? Laugh

Coisty set him up.  Gaza, knowing not a jot about the OF culture, just took him at his word.  Put his life at risk!

Yeah you’re right, was so funny seeing him tell it! Only Gazza!

Saw him once in the flesh - cup final Hampden.  He was absolutely stupendous.  Took the game, and the much vaunted oppo. midfielder, by the scruff of the neck, and ran the show, allowing all the others to get on with it.  Laudrup and co.  Best Rangers side I’ve ever seen and he was at the centre of it.

He had the magic and I love a character! Was lucky to see him too, used to go to football lots, league and internationals at the old Wembley.

How old was "that" Man Utd superstar with a drink demon when he passed away? I'm pleasantly surprised Gaza is still around. I wish Gaza well.

The over-paid and underachieving prancing peacocks are professionally football impotent. They've won nothing, and will win nothing in the near and middle term. The chance of the England men's winning a professional tournament in Europe is virtually zilch with the present England team.

England is in the process of rebuilding.

A no messing about statement Impossible! Unfortunately I think you’re right, but we’re not rebuilding with Kane still being in the team.

The former manager of the England men's and best team in Europe received a knighthood for winning nothing, but playing boring football and wearing that offensive 3-piece suit. If that team had won The Euro I'm without doubt the English media esp tv would allocate at least 6 hrs of coverage on the day eg from their breakfast table to kick-off.

The Lionesses are resilient, and play with spirit and conviction when falling behind; they keep trying. However, the men's will capitulate, and late pat themselves on the back after losing, led by the manager.

As a Scot I always found Wright insufferable but after his spat with that disgusting Aluko creature he's gone right up in my estimation..

Hoping we don’t let them shoot on sight, great in possession but deadly with their shooting. Their backline can be got at, so hopefully we ruffle them.

When any individual is being paid mega money, and delivers nothing I'm not hesitant or afraid to call the individual out. Mr Southgate became England manager because his face fitted - ability was secondary; won nothing yet had contract extended. This methodology can and will never happen outside sport eg in business unless it was nepotism.

The sad thing over 1/2 of the present England team would not have made the team that repeatedly made 1/4 and 1/2-finals, and a final under Mr Southgate.

Clifford could have finished it with a goal but Conor O'Donnell clears off the line at the expense of a 45, which Shane Ryan misses. Donegal have life, just.
Kerry bring Tadhg Morley in for Mike Breen.

Southgate’s Achilles was his substitute, made some really bad decisions when it mattered most. Bringing on the likes of Henderson against Italy!
