comms very happy boasting abpout 25,000 crowd,25= yrs ago this was a minimum 42,000 crowd and i think topuched 50,000+.could be reflection of working mens clubs/pubs shutting in north who all used to run 50 seater bus trips

never went on one probably dirt cheap travel with free pints vouchers. But only 25k on a scorcher like today would be shocking.
costs too much at York county stand ( members ) at Ebor meet £80
fook me £80 was thinking of going if japenese horse was running,just for the atmosphere etc ,but i wouldnt pay £80,think paid around £40 to see frankle at york
