Thirty degrees at Chepstow and Anthropologist came into the paddock wearing a rug! It was soaked in sweat underneath it.

We know that M Johnston/C Johnston horses are routinely tailed off after a good run, and that the market often knows they will be, but even by the standards of that yard this was bad.

Odds on to 2.8 and finished 3 furlongs behind them, almost like they knew it definitely wasn't winning
