If only. I think a physical assault on a copper is 2 yr max, according to Google. Let's hope the prison inmates dish out their own justice on the scum who thumped the female copper with venom.

If they can give two half glaikit tree fellers 4 and 3 ( to ensure their sentence isn’t automatically halved by being under 4 ) not many sentences dont fit the half criteria . |

The guilty scum has been remanded in custody and awaiting sentence. Too rightly too. The scum could abscond back to his parents' country of origin.
The CPS has been reported to seek a retrial for the assault on the male copper. |
