Obviously that isn’t right either glasgow but what happened last night and to a lesser extent last year shouldn’t be happening at a British institution like Glastonbury,it’s not my cup of tea but I do except it’s a big event enjoyed by many decent people and the powers that be and the bbc should be handling it much better.

I used to sing Sailing on top of a table full of drink, glasses full and many during fitty refreshment nights out. Never got thrown out ‘cos the pub was so hooching and I never spilled a glass. Happy, happy days.

Cheers hibby went to see him twice in a week at the kings hall belle vue in the late 70s still the best I’ve seen in concert,just put bbc two on I hadn’t realised he had changed colour since then
