Miss Onuzo said that after the pair went into a large conference room inside his office the woman became sleepy and lay down on the floor.
She added: "He tried to kiss her, she moved away. He laid down and pulled down her tights and panties and reached for her. "She pushed him away, pulled up her tights and pants and he then grabbed her bum really, really hard." Di Francesco denies sexual assault, insisting that all the touching was consensual and that the complainant had kissed him back. He claims the woman had asked her to lie on the floor with him and "be the big spoon". his gash basher would have been like a pan handle. |

To be associated with a "professional" jockey with a history of alcohol and substance abuse who knowingly drove, then crashed into a tree seriously injury his female companion passenger after a few beverages, and over the alcohol level permissible for driving. And, then refused to cooperate over a roadside test. ..... But according to the judge today, no-one was injured: Passing sentence, district judge Sam Goozee told Murphy that he was “lucky that neither you nor your passenger nor any member of the public was injured” in the crash.” Any chance of an apology. ?? |

GC, tbf, that was what was out there from the outset:
You can see the press release title from April here from the police, which was posted on the original thread, but it cannot now be viewed. https://www.thamesvalley.police.uk/news/thames-valley/news/2025/april/28-04-2025/appeal-for-witnesses-following-a-serious-injury-road-traffic-collision--west-berkshire/ It seemed hard to believe, that Murphy would continue as he did, giving TV interviews, and waving at the crowd after riding winners at Royal Ascot, if there had been a serious injury to the passenger. The judge has now said that there is no injury to the passenger. So why was that story allowed to run? |

GC & uptheirons, take madtolo for example, he doesn't read or watch the news, or watch 'loonytube', but even he posted this:
mitolo 30 Jun 25 19:18 his problems arent anyones business, maybe aside from the woman he nearly killed It was out there on social media, it was in news reports, people were clearly being led to believe that the passenger had been seriously injured, but according to the judge, there were no injuries, from the quotes in the Guardian's report. |

Extra quotation marks in there, presumably a typo, but there you have it. https://www.theguardian.com/sport/2025/jul/03/oisin-murphy-drink-driving-offence-horse-racing |

Yes I quite agree George, it did look as if she may have been injured, it turns out she wasnt, I still think several on here could easily step up and say " sorry I got that wrong ".

Money over conscience and decency, how callously sad and insecure any poster who thought Mr Murphy acted like a decent human being with conscience and care for other road users by drinking and driving and crashing into a tree hurting his female passenger. Even the BHA stated the behaviour of Mr Murphy fell short of what they expected.
I hope the BHA will back up their disappointments with Mr Murphy, and instigate a stringent code of practice for the future. Otherwise, the BHA will be complicit in any repetition of this behaviour from Mr Murphy. |

There isn't a post in here that someone says murphy "acted like a decent human being". What was being debated was the severity, if any, of the action that the BHA might take. They quite correctly and justly in my view have decided to take none, bar amending the conditions of his licence. And this what I can't grasp from the posters that think contrary to that. Why were you so desperate to see him banned either indefinitely or for a period of time. The criminal offense Murphy committed was conducted as a civilian outside of his working hours. Anyone in here either employed or self employed would be incredulous had they committed the same offence Murphy has and then told by their works governing body that you're now unable to earn a living.

By:
If you operate as a lawyer, a police officer, a member of the forces there are certain rules of behaviour and if you break them you're out. If you need a license to ply your trade your employer can put stipulations on granting it. This is what puzzling some people - the BHA have been so strict in the past that it's unbelievable they just waved him through. They may yet produce a nasty surprise.

Agree DG. I was speaking in generalities and I believe Murphy falls under that. He's a professional athlete and all the while on the racecourse on a race day he conducts himself to those standards and passes drink and drug tests then he should remain unabated in his pursuit of that.

Is Murphy still associated with Lizzie Nielsen (daughter of the very rich Bjorn Nielsen, owner of Stradivarius) ??
After this escapade, his fights, failed breath tests and his alleged cocaine transfer through a prostitute, if she is, she must be a bit special. |
