Reading the comments they had every faith in her abilities I wish her well for the future and I for one will definitely be keeping a close eye on her future rides

Quote from Suzy, " She is a good jockey and strong. She is very tidy and wasn't getting enough chances over jumps, whereas she will be a stand out on the flat "
It'll be great to see her make a real go on the flat. |

Certainly improving and will eventually lose her 7lb. What still baffles me is why Ireland produces so few good female jockeys. The very good ones like Nina, Katie and the now also retired Rachael were all exceptional but without them where is the next good female jockey in Ireland? Jodie Townend over jumps/bumpers perhaps but on the flat?

I have backed all 3 of her mounts today as she will be buzzing after yesterday all big prices my money on her back will definitely be a hindrance

Why no stalls?
By:
Following Race 1, due to damage sustained, the stalls will not be used for the remainder of today and the remaining 6 races will be tape starts.
An enquiry was held to consider the circumstances surrounding damage caused to the stalls, which resulted in Races 2 to 7 having to be started by a tape start. The Starters, the Clerk of the Course, the Stalls Team Leader and the General Manager were interviewed. After hearing the evidence, a report was forwarded to the Head Office of the British Horse Racing Authority for further consideration |

Disgrace no stalls at fos las, they shouldn't be let hold a flat card again, pitiful watching the carry on , I don't blame girl jockey at all , fos las are a fuking disgrace
By:
No service man there or nothing to fix stalls ah just don't use them , this carry on I. This day and age is shameful , no contingency just go with wind
By:
Did you not see mr combustibles post mics?
By:
Personally I backed teals in penultimate race and due to no stalls and Jack Callan no cop horse was left and it cost him at end but if there was stalls probably would won , it's all the punter that suffers from these buffoons
By:
Do u think punters in america or hong Kong or even India would put up with that carry on at fos las today , supposedly uk a first world country acting like third world country it's like long ago when we used jumpers for goal posts when playing football
By:
Stupid bha going on about stupid draconian whip rules when they couldn't be bothered to enact some sort of integrity in game
By:
And it was in, easy, mics.

If ever there was a candidate for prozac..
What's wrong with a flag start if the stalls are broken ? Better than the alternative , which would be to abandon the card, surely ? Horses are bred to be versatile and need to learn to do things other than just gallop in a straight line, and the jockeys should be horsemen and have some skill, so a few flag starts will sort out those that can ride from those that can only sit on top. They use them for every jumps race after all. |

Well done Lizzie, another winner @ 16/1.

Another masterclass from this silly t@rt just now at Brighton. The Timeform comment next time Graduated runs should be "rider did not stay the trip".

Timeform has her 2nd. Nail biting stuff. What is the result?
By:
Yes. Well done Elizabeth. She battled on this for fully three furlongs there and never faltered. The third lunged last stride and the angle was difficult.
