It does make you wonder Acey, surely you would think the Tote would ask 1 or 2 winners to go on the opening show, you couldnt get better advertising, they are missing a trick there imo.

Second try of the week for me. Never had much luck. I had a line up at a Cheltenham October meeting with small fields and it paid less than my 8 lines stake! Nearest I came was many years ago at the Cheltenham festival when I was part of a group of 4 who did it every day. I pleaded with the others to include a Jim Old horse in the Triumph that finished third at around 16/1 but was outvoted. Needless to say all of the other 5 legs came in and it paid a few hundred. The ultimate in mugs games really.
