Has it come to this Hibby? Betting on wimmin tennis?
|
|
By:
i'm afraid it has Rollo...
where the heck have you been ? last time i saw you on here was before anyone had heard of COVID ffs. |
|
By:
Hibby got it right in my view Rollo , one of the best trading categories in existence if you know your onions.
As for " has it come to this " i'd say that was a phrase better suited to punting at Ascot with allegedly no handbrakes and every horse trying their utmost , all that pre-race makes it impossible in my view. Each to their own and good luck today ![]() |

Royal Ascot and you're gassing about women's tennis

Good luck with the tennis Hibby.
Yes, I've not been on here for a bit but sumwon told me they had ended PC. |
|
By:
tennis is cancelled Rollo...
the Chinese lassie pulled out... maybe that was the reason the betting was 'wrong' imv... so maybe i got away with one tbh... who knows... cheers for that Hayden... i don't have the patience for all the trading stuff tbh... and it's a long day when you do what you do... especially in the winter when it's all 'down under' stuff. |
|
By:
ah...
so PC forced you off Rollo... not the only one i would suggest. |
|
By:
Hayden,
Good luck, hope you don't back won who comes in season. |

It's all about finding ways to make money for me so a Stuttgart warm up tournament would have far more appeal than the Ascot guessing game. Wait until the weekend and you'll read plenty of comments about doing brains at Ascot and how it's the same every year and how they hate festivals , festivals look pretty inviting before the event tbh but are a swerve for betting purposes , for me anyway and the misconception that it's easier to win when there are no handbrakes involved will remain and rather than many picking the wrong horse it'll be the poor old jockey that'll get it in the neck especially on the fav's. Good luck mate ![]() |

Hibby,
Yes those Wed deductions became too much to bear. Just looking at my account and I have £0 buffer for something called Expert Fee. It says I've won a wedge in the last 52 weeks but I haven't even had a bet on here. I'm still suffering for Tiger Roll's national! |
|
By:
i wouldn't even thinking of having a bet at Ascot Hayden...
pre-race of course... in fact i wouldn't consider pre-race on any horse racing these days tbh... as you have said before there are just too many 'variables' we know nowt about. |
|
By:
Respect in several ways Rollo
![]() |
|
By:
Hayden,
Good effort at improving your liquidity on the wimmin tennis. |
|
By:
Rollo...
i think your Expert Fee will look at your previous activity... for it to be 'active' you need to have one bet per week... not sure how it all hangs together tbh (for folk who have been away for ages that is). |
|
By:
Hibby,
Betfair must be run by nutters. If I paid a punkawallah to lose £2 a week on my account for a year, I'd be clear of expert fee? They are sacrificing the commission I would pay in the next year for £104? |
|
By:
i'm not sure how it all works tbh Rollo...
all i know is that if you are taking a break and still want to be under the 'Expert Fee' banner... you need to have 1 bet per week... you'd need to ask someone who knows more about it than i do tbh. |
|
By:
another profit aceform...
what's the scores on the doors now then ? |
|
By:
minimum bet is now £1 btw Rollo...
(officially) that is. |
|
By:
Small hibb…
Monthly records…. |
|
By:
Hibby,
AA one for Scotland! I wonder what that horse could have done with another trainer, instead of scratting about in noddy races for TV bonuses! |
|
By:
i think Goldie is a pretty decent trainer myself tbh Rollo...
he knows the time of day put it that way. |
|
By:
Hibby,
G1 winner and the poor horse has no wedding tackle! |
|
By:
frustrating Rollo...
but the horse might not have been any good at all if he hadn't had 'the op' tbh... we will never know... they're always going to come through the handicapping system from yards like that Rollo. |
|
By:
i actually like Ashlyn Krueger...
and at 1.27 i am tempted to be against Rybakina... i couldn't back Rybakina at that price... but i'm just going to leave it as Krueger seems to have hit a bad patch... mind you so has Rybakina but surely she has to turn it around at some point ? will probably regret it mind you. |
|
By:
Good luck Hibby.
|
|
By:
i said i ain't playing Rollo.
|
|
By:
Rybakina wins and as she normally does makes a meal of it ffs.
|
|
By:
NONE a day the aceform way ?
|
|
By:
is Emma Navarro on the list Hayden ?
worth looking at if she ain't imv... knee knock city. |
|
By:
Big John is smiling again thankfully

On wrong thread,dimwit

|
By:
Yes she's on Hibby , if only for the motivational reasons being a Billionaires daughter.
|
|
By:
yes she doesn't have the 'hurt' factor Hayden...
always looks like she's a bit on the edge to me... a bit fragile. |
|
By:
Ascot readily passed over,a watching brief imv…
I prefer Ayr Poet in the last at Hamilton for a bit of value especially with a bit of juice in the ground….course winner which is always important imo,ran well over a mile time before last and wasn’t beaten too far near the line….decent chance tbh… Win & place… Good luck to the chosen…. |
|
By:
think you were 'Goldie'd' there aceform...
10.5 out to 27. |
|
By:
Couple of feather love taps hibb, maybe keeping it for Ayr……
|
|
By:
you'll keep following that horse aceform...
i can tell. |
|
By:
Mmmm maybe one more on soft ground hibb….certainly got another race in it imv
|
|
By:
good luck 2nd guessing that bunch aceform.
|
|
By:
Not very often hibb, could count them on one hand tbh….
They love big Jim down south…..big basil the fox….. |
