chatto, you can't back first 3 in a 4-runner race in the US, can you really here with our honest jockeys? You may find that bet is voided after the NRs.

@swifty - no reason to void a 3TBP market in a 4-runner race.

R&Rs 14.3:

"Once opened, the number of winners in 'to be placed' markets will not be affected by further non-runners.
If the number of winners stated in the Market Information is equal to or is greater than the number of runners, all bets in this market will be void."

longbridge, fair enough. In the old days that would be called a cheat's charter, but since betfair and the pink button, no need for undesirables to need such openings, they've got more straight-forward options. Different across the pond.

With that sort of bet of 3 places from 4 runners there never will be an exchange problem as they're true odds just open for individual challenge , in that scenario as long as the pink total is below 300 and the blue total is above 300 it's all good.
