Andrew Balding ran 3 in the Good Friday 6 furlong handicap at Newcastle. Berkshire Whisper was well backed and won from a favourable draw but Marchogian had the worst of the draw and Humam was in the middle. Marchogian showed the value of the form when winning cosily at Newmarket. Humam has run once since finishing sixth again to Power Fizz at Ascot but goes up to a mile today. Worth a place bet imo. Balding has 15 declared runners today including Windlord at the Curragh. He often targets a Saturday so expect some others to run well.

In that race Tuco Salamanca was noted by practically all pundits as unlucky,sageform...ran 2nd at Ascot last week...goes today in the 1.30..Andrew Balding has Brighton Boy in that race
The cost of combining all the Balding horses in doubles or trebles is prohibitive but wouldn't be shocked if such an approach paid dividends..
