Seldom see Spencer riding from.the front, agree he seemed to give away the second placing, annoying anyone on it for f/c or Placepot.

IMO He's riding out his last career years in relative safety. Unless on a front runner he will take

back to last and bid wide of all the other runners. I'm not questioning his courage (I'd never do

that of any jockey) but I think he's playing it safe.
