I thought Albert Einstein was more impressive than that, and so does the market. Lot of the better O'Brien 2yo's look like 3yo's. He will also be able to get a second run.

Royal Ascot 2yo races are mainly about who has the most precocious horse.

nowt to do with speed?
Report Ramruma May 18, 2025 10:32 PM BST
You're thinking of the Derby, Rico. The winner at Epsom is the one with enough speed for a July Cup. I only wish Aidan would tell us which one has that speed before the race instead of just after.

"We had pencilled in a plan for the Chesham but he hasn't lacked pace there so we'll see."

im thinking 'coventry' obviously.

Both Treanmor and Albert Einstein are January foals which plays into the precocity angle I mentioned earlier.

Treanmor was very impressive but I'd be a little worried that Appleby's first thought was the Chesham. Then again, maybe events have shown Appleby is a lousy judge.

Reckon we may have seen the winner today, the visual of POSTMODERN certainly had that sit up and take notice element to it, looked special, although Amorim was in second and everyone beats himGrin

Is Wild Desert qualified for the Chesham?
Report elise May 23, 2025 4:42 PM BST
i don't think so george

Maybe Wilde Desert to the Coventry, and Treamnor to the Chesham, then?
Report elise May 23, 2025 4:56 PM BST
the latter would have that as it's likely race i'd expect
Report elise May 23, 2025 4:57 PM BST
although i bow to ramruma's knowledge

Outfielder for Wesley Ward and Amo Racing was an impressive winner at Churchill Downs last night. sent off at 1/5, cruised to  a 7 length victory only a second off the track record.
The Coventry a likely target.Wink
