aob saddles 3 ,Ryan on Henri Matisse and a winner this season this looks to have been the target but short enough imo. Camile pissario a course winner should go well and a decent price ,plenty with chances ,often plenty of hard luck stories at this c&d and I prefer to play at bigger prices graffards have to be respected but at the prices I like the look of both misunderstood and horquetot ,misunderstood has decent form is lightly raced and the yard won this last year with metropolitan who had a similar profile and this one has also had a prep when 3rd on seasonal debut well drawn and usually  a prominent racer .
hoquetot has a bit to find with some of these but not a lot and looks a big price not as well drawn as some but could outrun his odds here.e of the Fab
in the pouliches zarigana is short enough imo could well win but I like the chance of the Fabre filly better together who has won her last 3 and could be a lot more to come .
selections misunderstood around 20/1 bog ew & hoquetot 40/1 ew bog much bigger on here . good luck opinions encouraged.

I can see Luther turning the form around with Detain and he's almost 3 times the price of that one on here. Luther was having his first run on the AW last time out and the race really wasn't run to suit him. He also looked in need of the race and he'll appreciate getting back on Turf. I also like Camille Paradiso who ran a decent race on seasonal debut when the stable's horse were needing a run. I expect him to take a good step forward from that run (he'll need to) and the going looks fine for him. I also don't think we seen the best of this horse yet.

I've split a 1 point between the pair.

Good luck with yours Foyles.

Money pouring on to Ridari to give the Aga Khan another classic. Possibly the double with the favourite in the Pouliches.

Henri Matisse flew past but Jonquil came close to getting back up. HM probably a sprinter but still good enough. So Juddmonte end up with second in both GB and France. Detain was a close fifth but what have they got left for Ireland?

Happy with my pre race analysis there. Both not good enough but they both race fine races.

Yeah, they ran well. They will both win nice races at some point this season.  I don't really have an opinion in the Filles race. But good luck with yours Foyles.

Still no verdict on She's Perfect 1000G appeal. It's been over 5 hrs. Is this normal? Or is positive?

The French are not known for their rapidity which is why they eat snails.
It's the only thing they can catch

What a disappointment? Did the French stewards not consider the reverse angle (from the back) eg it was Moore (on Exactly) who deviated to the left bumping Zarigana after a crack from Moore to the horse's right?

Zarigana remains the winner of the Poule d'Essai des Pouliches after the appeal lodged by connections of Shes Perfect was unsuccessful.

The raceday stewards at Longchamp judged that Shes Perfect came off a straight line at Longchamp, carrying Ryan Moore on Exactly across Zarigana, interference they deemed to have cost the Aga Khan Studs' filly more than the margin of her nose defeat.

A hearing lasting an hour took place on Tuesday, with Charlie Fellowes saying he and Shes Perfect's rider Kieran Shoemark had put forward some "legitimate arguments" to the three-person panel.

However, France Galop published the outcome on Wednesday with no change to the stewards initial awarding of the Classic to Zarigana.

Absolutely the correct decision, I've no idea what Fitzgerald was looking at with his interpretation.  On FG website you can see 4 angles, check out vue 3 and vue 4... on vue 3 you can see She's Perfect veers off a line pushing Exactly onto Z.. Z probably lost a length.
On vue 4 rear angle, and probably the one Fitzgerald was referring to, you can see strips in the grass and it's clear She's Perfect veers off a true line by 2 strips to the left as we see it, pushing Exactly onto Z..

People here are trying to make theories to promote She's Perfect.  The fact Barzalona rode a crap race, losing his whip and slapping down the neck is immaterial.

They were looking at the furlong marker….Moore drifted into the Frenchman…..Frenchman lost ground…Bla..

What chance the French stewards outlawing hitting a horse anywhere with the jockey's hand in the future - dropping the whip or not? The jockey of Zarigana needs a censure of some sort for sure.
By:

When: 21 May 25 13:57
How could they censure the jockey when he broke no rules implausible?

the appeal was based on seething resentment not reality. the decision was correct and would be so anywhere, even here

I’ve been critical of Shoemark riding, but see he did nothing wrong here. Connections and hometown decision as the Hulk pointed out powerful unit in French racing. Since the passing of the Aga they’d of waned a classic.

I don’t like the way they took all horses from Rouget after all he did for them. I don’t know how ill he is but Frankel helped Cecil focus on something else and gave him hope.

Dupre was my fav along with Delzangles - why did he fall out of favour Hulk? Something to do with Ridasynia?

I’ve seen Moore employ the side swipe manoeuvre many a time to protect the rail at Ascot, Hawkeye hung severely in Dante.

If he does that at Epsom, he might end up down the high street! Laugh

Beware any jock following that one in the Derby! Silly
