Perhaps it should be changed to Conman James? Looked slow on his bumper debut and very much shaped as though the step up in trip would help. When he won his point he led under this jock. So why today does he decide to give the leaders 15 lengths start? He eventually made some progress, but got the horse unbalanced and ended up swinging about 15 wide into the straight. He eventually stayed on into fifth, but the ride gave him absolutely no chance.
