DAMASCUS STEEL - 8.30 Kempton
Damascus Steel reappears after a break of 102 days ( which is a bit of a worry ), though if he's fit and well after his break, he's got to be of interest here, over a CD that suits him well.
He's 2-3 over 12f at Kempton (2nd only other run), and with several prominent runners in tonight's field, the race, in theory, should be run to suit Damascus Steel's patient tactics.
He's available at 16/1 with several bookmakers, which surely underestimates his chances should he turn up fit and well.
