Neither have I nor a Nokio - the brand leader of mobile phones for a long while. Anyway, China will never give up their export strategy and/or rule the world aspiration. Now, at least others are more aware of their modus operandi.

Apple are kings of branding. Yes the design was game changing back in the day. There is not much differentiation now, the competition has caught up.
My point in this case is that Apple will know they can't hike by 50% and maintain loyalty. There are other premium brand alternatives. They have a massive margin on their products, and that's what would give first. |

To some buying an apple product is like buying a Rolls Royce. The perception of superiority commands loyalty and snob value. Both combined = a healthy premium.
