The price (currently shown as 1.0 in matched bets) will revert to the price actually matched (if they get
it right, but they have previously screwed up this bit).

If you need to know the price(s) matched, go to the History section in your account and download the CSV files
- you can change the dates manually to get the whole year, if you don't know your dates. The CSV does actually
show the matched price(s).

In case it helps, I have bets matched at 15 to 55, so it traded in quite a wide range before it
was removed from the market, which appears to be around early December. I can't remember, but was
that the entry date for the GC?

Never come across this situation before and I like to think I have a fair and unbiased view on gambling,however let’s just say you had layed 20 the horse ,in the period up till now with it an unlikely runner you may have had the chance to bet it back at say 30 ,yet if reinstated it will probably be around 12

It should never have been removed. They have done it for about 5 years now - maybe more.
I argued with them initially, but they were stubborn about it. Stupid company to talk to

You're right - I had matched bets in January. The spreadsheet was sorting incorrectly.

Back in foot and mouth year I was almost on my own laying on the anti post markets on here ,in those days you could speak to people ,after about a week of the fixture been silenced by the lambs I rang them to ask why they haven’t settled the markets,the reply was we’re waiting on a ruling I said the meeting is of not to be rerun ,about a month later the markets were settled.

I remember I was told the removal was to "prevent" unsuspecting new players backing it as it was not entered. However, if it was supplemented then it would be inserted. But, this would be of no use to any layer/backer or anyone with a position as no risk management could be executed.

I backed Inothewayurthinkin on 12 April last year. Not 100% sure if it was Bet Fred or Betfair as I just wrote BF next to it. It doesn't appear as an open bet with either. Just emailed Bet Fred as they are the more likely, but it is concerning as it should appear with one or other. You shouldn't be able to wipe a bet until final declarations. I hope this doesn't turn into some sort of ridiculous battle where they pretend the bet wasn't placed.

I just chased Ladbrokes on another bet from 12 April and they had it, but I couldn't adjust the filter to view it. Maybe that's the problem with the other one.

Best to try and sort it before next week.

Laddies are annoying. One can only set the filter to a 2/3-month period at a time. I've a few that were placed prior to the Epsom Derby and Royal Ascot; I thought they were "lost" by laddies.

Not so sure they are the only one's. Spoke to Ladbrokes Customer Services twice and both insisted over and over again that you can change the filter, but you can't. Got them to email over the bets, but you cannot do anything such as cash out if you wanted to. It's really poor when everything is online, but the punter is at the mercy of the site. Still waiting on Bet Fred about the Inothewayurthinkin bet. Made three deposits for the bet amount on that day - all say LC INTERNATIONAL on the statement. Would that differentiate as to whether the deposit was made to Bet Fred or Betfair?

It must incorporate other firms as well. Only one of those three deposits would have been made to Ladbrokes.

In the old days when you had an anti post with a credit account you would receive a voucher in the post all very clear no complications.

I think I have sorted out in my mind what happened. I wasn't allowing a couple of days for the payments to clear. A payment to Bet Fred shows a couple of days later, not for the full amount, but I was probably topping up a credit balance in order to place the bet. At least I am pretty certain I am pursuing the right bookmaker, and hopefully, it is just a similar case to Ladbrokes where their filter doesn't go back far enough. Only an automated response so far so I will chase again on monday if I don't hear anything.

Well the good news is I had a response from Bet Fred this morning, and they have found the bet. The very disturbing news is that it was settled as a loser in January. Clearly you can't be doing that. The main thing was the confirmation as it shouldn't take much time to get it reinstated. I doubt I will even get any apology. It's a nonsense.

I'd not find 2 antepost trebles with 'laddie'. One is on GDC, the other Constitution Hill. They are worth nearly £200.

Very disappointed that Mark Walsh has been jocked up. I was hoping he would have been on Corbetts Cross and Donoghue would have retained the ride. He isn't an easy ride, and Donoghue is much the better at hunting one round and then producing it when it matters. I think the each-way is now far less likely to materialise. Hopefully, I am wrong.

JP is very loyal with retained jocks. He did the same with Coleman on Jonbon, Epatante, etc.

As he has barely drifted for the National despite this maddening decision are we to assume he is still an intended runner there or are the antepost 33/1 bets destined for the bin? His 25k addition of Joyeuse didn't do him much good ysdy.

Always a chance Joyeuse wasn't a strong stayer, and she had to find a stone with Take No Chances on the previous run. You can only assess the National after Friday. Anyone who had the foresight to back him for the Gold Cup will be delighted that he is running. The run in the Irish Gold Cup strongly suggested he deserves his place. There is not one quote from Cromwell that suggests he was ever keen on the National, and JP has loads of other entries. He doesn't have a load of Gold Cup horses. 

I know JP doesn't change course - he even uses O'Neill - but not using Donoghue who has been key to getting the horse jumping and progressing this season is for me a mistake.

Hope gallopin and iknow stay healthy and meet at leopardstown at both Christmas and in February then have another showdown back here next march ,the rest of the staying chasers are not really up to much they remind me of those who were running around in the best mate era the likes of harbour pilot and truckers tavern.obviously fact to file in very good but he might well be an allaho,fastorslow may come back,the staying novice chasers look a motley crew probably the worst I’ve ever seen.

Thankfully we look like having a great period ahead in the champion hurdle division

Inowhatyurthinkin and Fact To File are in the same ownership. Also, the latter is not a proper 3m 2f horse, I think.

I'd like to see Galopin Des Champs has another crack at Inowhatyurthinkin on softer going in the Gold Cup or prior; I do not think either will go to the King George at Kempton.

I think it's unlikely Inowhatyurthinkin will run again this season given the Gold Cup triumph.

Couldn't fault Mark Walsh - I think his confidence grew as the week went on - although they all gave credit to Donoghue as well. I think it is Punchestown or a nice rest for the winner. It's a shame the press almost seem to be trying to bully the horse into the Grand National. JP has his Gold Cup horse for next year and that should/will be foremost in his mind. I wouldn't be against a crack at the King George with Fact To File before he returns to the Ryanair. Both of these could well repeat next year. I don't think there is too much to worry about in the staying novice division.
