McManus also reveals that he has so far backed just one horse for the festival and it’s not even one of his own – instead siding with Copacabana, owned by Edward Ware and trained by Willie Mullins, in the Champion Bumper.

What are the rules regarding backing a different horse in a race that you own one running in it?

Obviously you cant lay your own horse on here but you can back something else?
