Can't remember seeing anything like that since similar happened about 40 years ago ...think it was at Newcastle

A strong ride to finish yes, though think he tactically got a bit too far out of his ground earlier to call it a great ride, think horse saved him partly too.

Think it was W A Stephensons Ronnie won a race @ Doncaster if memory serves many moons ago.

Greyhawk,it was run over,it was at Donny,on itv 7 .derek Thompson commentating,dead last turning in weaved through field.

not Sean's fault though surely? horse just wasn't travelling in the early part, pace too quick allowing it to come back?

Fair enough question, guess we could give him benefit of doubt given he managed to win...

But he does have a deliberate hold up habit too, as a jock...

Cobden just given Guard Duty a similar ride but he was always travelling while Booster Bob wasn't early on. You do wonder if the top jocks know that the course is still testing and take their time. It was described as heavy yesterday and drying only makes it more sticky.
