Indeed and fairly obvious chance in home straight to have done so. Would want stewards into that ride.

Not a lot to see there, couldn't quicken and stayed on a bit, even then it wasn't making that much ground up. Good ride from the front though on the winner.

As lucky said above was never put in the race to win it - only effort when race over.

Not a chance that ride was to 'gain best possible finish position'
