Every day seems to bring more madness into the world and i'm understanding less and less as i get older. The old order of how the world was run appears to be changing in front of my eyes, have i stepped through an invisible door into a new dimension.
Reading the thread regarding Isiris and wondering why he wasn't prosecuted by the police is just one instance. The old fella banned from his only bookies near him for apparently being old.
The daily utterings from Trump and Musk are almost unbelievable including the contempt they have for other countries leaders.
Trumpy had all those charges against him and nothing happened, Musk threatens to sack all the federal employees who don't respond to his e-mail.
Are some people now above the law, mind you the video of Gaza being turned into Trumpland with a golden statue of him did make me laugh.
Is it just a fact that people of different beliefs and cultures can never live happily together, are Trumpy and Musk becoming Gods themselves, it's all very baffling.

bay of pigs. vicarage tea party compared to other uprisings and acts of resistance. it would have been much better for the 10s of thousands of cubans who have died trying to get out, and the unknown numbers tortured to death in camps stuffed with political prisoners
