I immediately thought about Constitution Hill racecourse gallop tomorrow. A repeat of last year? I sincerely hope not. I just like to see him at Chelters next month regaining his accolade and deserved trophy.

I'm not sure how I feel about racecourse gallops. I'd rather see an actual race but I suppose the alternative would be to drive him around in a horsebox for an hour or so to simulate travelling to the course and then send him up a neighbouring trainer's gallops.

At least the racecourse gallop is in public.

Ideally a racecourse gallop ought to resemble a greyhound chasing an artificial hare on a rail in a straight line for 4f at least for a NH horse. This will induce confidence in potential backers. A long public trot will not. Anyway, I wish Constitution Hill comes thro' his gallop soundly.
