Tolstoy was given a decent break before starting out for Ellison, whereas this one they've only had three weeks.
It'll be interesting to see if they can get him back up into the 90s but let go for peanuts so it remains to be seen if there's much juice left in the orange.

Could slip it into a class 5. Hits it quite hard so Tapeta may be the way forward. possibly the run at Royal Ascot done for him. Some decent back form, so if the gelding can find his way back could win a few for sure. Market will guide.

Yes, came in for some solid support close to the off. I think Ben Robinson wanted to be closer to the pace early on but got shuffled back to mid-div and then never-nearer than at the finish. Hard to say he'll be another Tolstoy for them on that evidence but there was encouragement to take from it.

Nearly the whole meeting seemed to consist of pace slowdowns mid-race with the majority of held up horses failing to close up and ending up too far back to challenge. Very frustrating - and a seemingly poor crowd attendance to boot.
