I wonder if Townend had not gone wide whether he would have won ! Seemed to cost it the race that tactic .

Winner led from home turn but was only called in front at the line.

I backed the winner MJK and I was livid with Walsh when he took that route as everyone knows the best ground is near the rail , so was delighted when he got her home..

That and the mistake at the last. Horse was probably worth another length or two in victory.
