Why does the majority of his horses need to be ridden from way off the pace? Strong leader aside (who never looked comfortable) most of them seem to be ridden this way. Is there any real need for it?

I think Strong Leader has ability but for me he’s never looked straightforward and the Grade 1 he won last year was a bit of a Micky Mouse race as it turned out
Murphy not a top class trainer in my eyes no matter what hype the media give out, if you must back one of his the percentage call is to back his hurdlers or national hunt flat runners, his chasers (predominantly) never seem to run two races alike
