Agree slightly with OP, but has rivals for position ant and dec, schofield, walsh, madely, shepherd. All cants, there are probably many more.
At least The Dunphy show was watchable in Ireland, but it didn't last, because the TV audience didn't want it, the majority want to watch dung from aforementioned.
Agree unbearable him and Walsh…..Walsh junior hopeless actor probably helped along by daddy…..
Obv I cant stand him , but he actually does a good film music show on Classic FM .

I am proud to say that 99% of the time when a 'celebrity's 'name is mentioned I have no recollection
of the person. So called celebrity's are only known to those who watch such rubbish as soaps, and
other 'celebrity' tv programmes. (I'm not a snob by the way. Grew up in a working class family and
think Wetherspoons are on the whole great pubs for example).
The sad thing is the majority of people don't look beyond what they are spoon fed by the media and
are reluctant to admit to enjoying anything that is outside the 'box' of peer pressure.
For example there is a World of music out there. Classical, Jazz ,Blues Oriental, Indian, etc etc.
and yet the majority listen to pop music (nothing wrong with that) but won't even consider anything
else.
All this celebrity nonsense is pablum for the masses!

Took millions out of the game along with pinky and perky (ant & dec)…..shear brutality tbh….
Being the aged dinosaur wot I am, I can sum up the whole celebrity cult as follows: In my day, when a celebrity appeared on the stage or on tv it was WOW!!! Now on a show it's WHO??? Least fave are J. Carr & M. McIntyre who are so far up their own posteriors that they protrude from their mouths. There isn't enough room on this whole forum to list the lack of talented individuals who just got lucky or slept with the right people.
Reminiscent of the team that turned up to play HMP Slade.
