Which planet? I do not always find him easy to understand. Which part of Ireland is he from? His accent is strong.
Horrible screaming ,nails down a blackboard ,banshee at the finish of a race, even when the horses are strung out. I mute the commentary when I can. Much prefer the softer tone of the other Irish RTV commentator at Limerick.
Listowel,in the county of Kerry. Deep SW of Ireland, I think it is an Irish language speaking area where he grew up. No problem with that, and kinda cute the way he pronounces some words, like "Two" as toooooou But my issue with him is that strangulated excited yelling atthe end of a race, awful.
You can keep him in your run of the mill races but on the Big Day there is nobody better imho.
