pandora prob not far off with athletics - but the simple way to judge this is basically just sports that don't encourage or have a great deal of betting on them.

They are more honest because no-one is really thinking of bothering to rig up any betting coups on them. Still might see players losing for other reasons though, e.g. feeling like it's a lesser event so using it as a warm up etc.

i'd say english premier league, it's not my fav betting medium however, probably because the amount of money available to ordinary players would be least bent

motor sport has to be the most boring sport invented....cars running round the same track, with the driver in the best car winning, as long as he does not break down.

Motor Sport esp F1 can be bad cos if a team is 1-2 in a race they can make leader get took over for team mate if he is higher in overall standings

i am mates with a golf pro who almost exclusively bets on NFL, and pretty successfully....topped up last few years on the winner throughout the season.....think he won about 6 grand...on the when all said and done.

he says lots of unpredictability, players left out, players rested before the playoffs, early season, always shock results, really need to know your stuff to bet on it.

I would say yes especially in the early stages 3 balls. Not in the latter stages though. Basically golf is an honest game. The best bet I ever had was Greg Norman Turnberry 1986 £10 @ 12/1. Jeez that was neary 40 years ago.

i had £300 on Norman at 16/1 in the US Masters that he blew to Faldo....no betfair in those days but from memory he was 1/16 at the start of the final round.

it was a very painful watch...Have had some great golf winning bets too, mind.

In terms of honesty it must be virtual horses/dogs. The races are decided by a random number generator, with a small overround, say 102%.So there is no room for dishonesty here.

HOWEVER, as its a constant overound, with no skill element, the law of large numbers will make it certain that EVERY SINGLE player will lose in the long term!
