People used to say that you were a mug if you backed horses
The truth is that individual punters can win but the mass of punters AS AN ENTITY cannot win

I believe that it is next to impossible to win from straight backing or laying through form study. Bookies make no mistakes now as their tissue is formed from the first 500 quid matched on the exchange.
