More to the point why are you allowing them to rip you off? Pound double at "combination" odds of 45-1 returns 46.00. Pound double at 8-1 and 9-2 returns 49.50. Irrelevant if they won't take a double of course.

Difficult for me to place any bets with many bookies. Not sure the bet slip is a bit of a nightmare but has worked before, really cannot understand why they won't take the double. Just a fun bet so no biggie but annoying.

There are a few bookmakers who don't take multiples on certain selections, same stable, owner etc the night before and up to a certain time in the morning, I've had it a few times.

currently 8-1 and 15-1 on here so paying 143-1.

I won't be opening an account with them!

usually only worth bothering about if you're going to carefully open 300 accounts, rip them a new backside for £30 free bets on each (9 bags), lose the free bets, lay them here.  9 grand up on here, close the 300 accounts.

Simply, a combination bet requires 3 or more selections so combi doubles would be 3 bets, a double would come under multiple, so easy to see why the message was given. HTH

yes, a double is ONE bet combining 2 selections in COMBINATION.

3 selections involves PERMUTATION.

Luckily I was good a Maths and it's helped in my betting life'.

I thought Gaze was thick but you are challenging for the crown Swifty, the boxes above are nothing to do with the amount of selections but the amount of bets i.e single = 1, double = 1, combi = 3 or more!!!  If you can find a bookmaker who classes a double as a combi bet let us know? HTH
