Busy day T2R, I'll try (if I get time) to do some for you later today (or maybe tomorrow); if not (almost certainly) the day after (without fail).

@bobscartoons

"Something people ought to understand about ALL these petitions you see floating around:

It is not the case that somebody can just wake up one day, furious about something or other, and put out an official petition.

You have to apply to get one approved. The message and the way it's worded can be rejected. Many do get rejected.

How many people do you think tried to put out petitions saying,
"Stop the roll out of Covid-19 injections for everybody, immediately, and launch a criminal investigation into the government's violations of The Nuremberg Code."

No way. Not allowed.

All you got was watered down, meaningless tripe like,
"Please debate whether or not mandatory vaccines for care workers is an ethical policy."

In other words, you only ever get presented with petitions that controllers within the system want you to sign.

It's a humiliation ritual. Don't play along."

All petitions, whatever the subject, should give people the opportunity to sign to say that they disagree with the petition.

"Wahwahwahwah My side din't wwwwin and I don't wike the side wot dwwiiid wahwahwahwah, can we twy and twy and twy again until Im swick?'.

As a very stupid man once said 'You can't fix the roof in a day when a fecking bulldozer has crashed into the cellar for 15 years'

The brexiters said remainers would  all cry foul and for a new ref - what did that petition get? Yet here we hypocritically are........

Trumpety Trump - only elections he wins are fair - Sign the petition for 'get spanked' Kari Lake - no way she lost by so much when Trumpy won so 1 of them must be fixed!

Coughs 'Thatcher.......'

Go and do your own research.

Makes me laugh when they keep prattling on about the amount of votes Labour got.  Well they got more votes than any other party so for all you people whining get over it you all backed a loser.

the shallow vote share is important, it means they are likely a one-term government.

No labour supporters thought it would be this bad after only a few months. Total incompetence regarding winter fuel payment's and totally stifling growth in the markets by taxing companies beyond comprehension. Rachael from accounts has a lot to answer for.
Petition goes nowhere but might lead to some backtracking before there is a general strike which could bring this shocking government down. Even James O’Brien can’t defend the balls up so far.

I do not like Labour, but how can anyone think having another general election will help?

1/ Labour do need to be given a chance - just as much to properly mess up as possibly to make things better.

2/ Tories remain so divided that they cannot govern effectively. I doubt Badenoch will be savvy enough to sort the Tories out and until they are united again they cannot govern. What might unite them is when the Labour idiots really wreck the economy (as Labour usually do).

3/ People complain that removing the winter fuel allowance was 'not in the manifesto'. Well, here is a surprise for the fools who think it should have been: NO party will ever put highly unpopular stuff in their manifesto! Not having something unpopular in a manifesto is not enough to generate an election!! Anyway, Labour will always fall back on how they did not realise the apparent terrible state of the UK finances.

4/ This daft petition will never be given an actual debate anyway. Remember that 100,000 signatures only guarantees that the petition committee will CONSIDER granting a debate. With such a huge Labour majority, what is the point of a debate anyway?

Jesus, this country is full of self-important, naive, idiots today....

Which is why Adult Social Care will never be fixed and people will continue to have their life savings taken off them to live in a crappy care home.

daytime TV ads are one long guilt trip "nobody wants a traditional funeral anymore," "I want a cheap funeral, so my family can spend the money on themselves." The assisted suicide bill would be the biggest guilt trip in history.

Oh, it's just the very terminally ill...

Let's see how it's going in Canada...

A Paralympic army veteran told stunned lawmakers in Canada when she claimed that a government official had offered to give her euthanisia equipment while fighting to have a wheelchair lift installed in her home.

By:

When: 26 Nov 24 11:28
And how it's 'progressing'...

Canada just passed a law that radically changes the boundary between acceptable and unacceptable medical practice and has opened a path to euthanasia for patients with psychiatric illness who find their conditions unbearable.

BTW there never was a (serious) petition to redo the brexit referendum so please read whatever you like into the complete and utter hypocrisy from the right (just look at Tice) whenever they lose.
Its almost as if the gullible right are being controlled by the establishment as they are terrified that 'their' party is going to be out of power for a generation or 3, but that can't be the case SHIRLEY.......
