Which of the following horses will achieve the best finishing position in this race? This market will be settled on the official weighed in result.

If both horses achieve the same position this market will be settled as a dead heat. If either horse fails to come under starters orders all bets will be void. Any other non runners will not affect this market. At least one horse must finish the race for bets to stand. If the named race does not take place on the scheduled day then this market will be made void.

If it's Jumps, some bookmakers pay on which horse gets round the furthest, if neither finish

A horse has to finish , if not void bet, across all bookmakers/exchanges as far as i am aware.

Pretty sure sports book on ere is whichever gets further, ie jumps most obsticles.

The last time i had a match bet with Hills ( a few years ago) the horse who jumped the most fences/hurdles was declared the winner if both failed to finish.

Surely the order of Finnish or not finnished recorded by the bha. Secures the winner. Once one stops. Falls. Refuses then the other has won
