I think Mr Jenrick is finished as a politician. He could not even beat Ms Badenoch. This election reminds me of Labour choosing Mr Foot over Mr Healey. A bad bunch for a deserving Conservative Party.

What is it you object to with Jenrick. Or do you just take your instructions from the bbc?
|
|
By:
He's lightweight, and a fake. He was a supporter of Mr Sunak and then jumped a sinking ship over Rwanda. He was the Housing minister who broke government advice on travel restrictions during the e by travelling to his family home, and visiting his parents.
A politician who's contributed little to the country. |

Do you object to individuals who take their own decisions and hold their parents in higher regard than "advice" of others impossible? You never did tell us the outcomes of the numerous meetings you had with your MP?

He had visions of returning the rodents….

Okay so you must really have it in for the current pm, who has more positions than the karma sutra. Jenrick faced the reality of trying to work with the home office (deep state), and realised that the whole structure of government needs to be redone. Makes sense to me. Anyone who 'broke' the covid 'rules' is fine by me, shows they have a modicum of common sense. You basically have nothing against his policies, just going along with what the mainstream want to to think.

I'm for Rwanda. I'm also for Ms Braverman.
Mr Jenrick jumped from a "sinking ship" after being on it for yonks citing (suddenly) he did not agree with Mr Sunak's Rwanda plan. He ought to have voiced his opposition and disagreement at the same time as Ms Braverman; the Rwanda plan was half-baked. Where was Mr Jenrick when Ms Braverman published her scathing resignation letter? He was jockeying for position, and feathering his own political nest. I was hoping Mr Cleverly would be elected as leader. I'd never vote for Mr Jenrick if he was PM. |

Expected nothing less from you TBF impossible, you have not a clue!! You say you were in favour of Rwanda and then say it was a half baked plan?

It's all the politicking, which is a waste of time and bugged the Tories since brexit. Offshore processing is doomed as the establishment will never let it happen, at least in the way it would need to. ie floaters whipped straight off of UK soil to be processed. I gave up looking at the minutiae as this is patently the case. As I understand it, Jenrick wanted to make the bill/law much more robust. But Sunak had to please the wets in the party, who held the balance of power at that time.
If was was happening the opposite way, if floaters were leaving Dover, and turning the engine off halfway, do you think the French authorities would taxi the to France and give them free accommodation, money, healthcare, put the men into schools, dental care? Abso fukking lutely no chance AT ALL that would happen, they would be brought back here. The ONLY solution is to taken them back whence they came, ie France. We have no political will to do it. |

all i've heard from Badenoch since Parliament started up again is non stop negativity...
constantly telling Angela Rayner 'she' won't build 1.5 million new homes... constantly saying Labour WILL fail... i get the party politic side of it... and i get the fact that if Labour do well they will get re-elected... but she sounds the type who really wants the country to be a complete mess so she can get in to number 10... not very patriotic imv. |
