Took 16/1 + boost last night. Looks the part, and had looked very progressive before being markedly upped in class and trip last time. Still attracted a few each-way nibbles at big prices. He probably was outclassed, but Pouchin gave him a nothing ride, parking him at the back when he had gone forward for his two wins. Each time he was strong through the finish. Down in class, down in trip, and reunited with his original jock who did nothing wrong on either of those wins, all look pluses. The wide draw isn't ideal (but didn't stop him in the big field handicap), and a more obvious potential negative is the quick turnaround. You have to think this would have been a better stepping stone than the Group 2.
