The alternative version of Everyday like Sunday Morrisey performed on the Jonathan Ross show was very good. Unusually, considering I didn't like much music from the era, I liked quite a few Smith's tracks.

The OGWT with Whispering Bob was a mustn't miss for me even though on late at night. Some classic performances over the years. I'd be very surprised if any of you saw Cheech & Chong's Basketball Jones on there in the early days. I got into The Motels & bought their first couple of albums due to their appearance on OGWT. By the way, if there is a horse called Bigmouth running today, must back it as it's sure to Strike Again!

It would be great if some satellite station could resurrect the original tapes and show them all from the start.

I doubt any band ever turned down a place on the show.

BBC 4 does alot of 'Remembering...' programmes these days...

they show one or two and put the rest on iplayer...
