Happens so often when the betfair favourite gets placed but is returned the industry 2nd fav to a horse with a higher betfair SP.
e.g 2nd race at Sedgefield 1st No 3 bf sp 3.66 returns 5/2 5th No 6 bf sp 3.75 returns 9/4
And if they do finish joint favs the one with the higher number will be unplaced due to law of the s0d.
