Every rider is under the microscope because we see every race....To my eyes, riders today are better than those in previous years, more so over jumps tbf, but if we saw every race in the 70s, 80s etc and the internet was on the go, all the "greats" would be getting pelters from the usual suspects.
The ones who back the favourite in every race, the ones who lambasted jockeys in the betting shop when we couldnt even see the race. |

I don't so much mind jockeys making actual mistakes, misjudged etc...
The only thing I really hate is when you can clearly see a jockey is making a deliberate mistake or 'tactic' on their horse, and often a very experienced jockey doing it. That and jockey apologists or cover up merchants after such rides. |

Dettori..world class probably 7lb better than most
Moore ….strong capable good rider… Doyle….capable… Buick…..capable but mistake prone…. Marquand…very capable…. Hollie Doyle…..bit overhyped imv…..can struggle a bit and guilty of hitting the stifle….imv Young billy…..potential to be very good… Dougie Costello…..very good horseman who she be riding quality horses….tbf Crowley…..overated…. Havlin …probably a good work rider …tbh Northern riders are more than capable of holding the big jobs…. Shoemark….lost the Inspiral ride…..grade 3… Levey …average at best… The rest are capable,obviously some more than others…. |

A negative figure to the nearest £1k will suffice Absolutely F all to do with what I’ve punted…..lots of football players are overrated and bang average but collect huge sums dropping into their accounts each month….. Some get luck (Ryan Moore) words….some chip away without the good break….. |

IMHO, the jockeys I really dislike the most are those that display the greatest amount in 'variation' in their ability to win or ride well in a race.
Wonder what causes such variations... Some are just plain rubbish, and oddly I dislike that a lot less! |

Not same arse Acey Mousey ... i do agree with OP ..differentdrum ..the dealer...and FormAce that the standard is sooo low now and that the pink has a lot to do with it ..especially the low end jocks ...the phone calls like Dwyer/Mulrennan id say similar are going on more often now ...
The Management is a dose... you arent entitled to voice an opinion if ya arent making loads of money from a corrupt sport ya probably have to be in the inner circle of calls to make it pay ... also you cant voice an opinion on a poor ride you have placed money on because you are then pocket talking but surely you as a punter have paid for the priviledge ...most moronic statement...you are pocket talking as if it changes your view when even the Barstewards agree with you but there ya go...no logic when dealing with idiors like TM... imho of course .. |
