my bet was lay less than 18
the distances was actually 24.25
bet settle loser less than 18 a winner
at 6.15pm i say simple error
7.15pm settled again as over 25 lengths
WHO EMPLOYS these trading clowns
3 markets 2 errors
NOW SUPPOSE tom dick harry back or lay 2 losing markets withdraw funds
their bf account shows nagatives they not refund betfair
2 days ago i was paid same distance market as a winner
i told then i lost
2 hours to adjust is pathertic

That happened to me two or three times this year. Paid out on a losing bet. They eventually corrected it and deducted the money from my BF account which was correct thing to do.
If some unscrupulous bettor immediately withdrew the money paid by error, their balance would show up negative as you say but when BF eventually corrects it, which they always do, but when they made a deposit later the system would automatically take it back. I don`t think many (if any) would sacrifice their BF account to steal a few hundred paid out to them in error. I agree that it takes too long to rectify though. |

Trying to contact them to tell them either way is a complete waste of time if you don`t use social media, which I don`t. It gets corrected eventually.

For the record, my bets that were settled in error were, A v B which aren`t a clown bet imo.
I would never bet on winning distances. Hard enough without guessing. |
