The OP puts up selections that turn out to be 'not very good' - has this ever happened before? - at least he puts them up, and in advance of the event.
Then gets slagged of by others who also put losers up, or worse still, dont put any up at all. Everything thats wrong with the forum. |

Anybody should feel free to put up selections - absolutely anybody.
But if you are too lazy/ignorant to offer even a whiff of rationale for the selection, you get what you deserve imo. Same with not keeping it all on one thread and not keeping a running P&L total - of course we all know why all the usual suspects (like the OP) don't keep a running total or keep it all on one thread! If somebody else (in this case Rico) wants to provide a running total for them or bump their previous selections - fair enough imo. I'm not the least bit interested in the fella that's doing the AI thread - but he keeps it all on one thread, keeps a running total, etc. Respect to him for that. |

The Management: Who are you please to tell people that they should keep a p&l and keep everything to one thread? Have you done that since joining betfair? Fair enough if you have. This is not a paid for forum, its free, no one can be told what and what not to do with their selections. No wonder this forum has lost contributors over the years, it wont be long before the only ones left will be those who kiss each others backsides, and no pre race selections will be posted. |

Well yes, as Rico has pointed out, the OP has form as a hopeless, degenerate guesser and a chaser.
I don't really have an issue with anybody pointing that out for the benefit of others. Of course, he could prove that to be wrong - but he won't even try - he knows he is not capable of turning a profit or even a short paragraph to back up his selection. |

There are no Betfair police (they can't be @rsed). In the absence of any real moderation, rico will do for me. He might not always get it right but he's not too far wrong with most. It would be a lot harder to critique somebody that wasn't writing lazy, utter drivel. The small handful of (selection posting) contributors that make an effort, seem to get the respect they deserve. |
