I went to Alma school on the Southwark Park Road
And Saturday nights Mum and Dad used to take us up the Southwark Park club so all us kids could run around while they watched the acts

my mates dad was a docker and he brought them home huge blocks of thick chocolate bars ,which weren't made by a known brand but tasted ok to us

Itp... Most of the kids at my school, their dads were dockers
The union would negotiate with the management how much they could nick from each ship otherwise they'd nick more
So, on any given Monday, all us kids would have new plimsolls, new t shirts
Plus always getting chocolate where the tea chests had been accidentally dropped, if you know what I mean

the cadburys cabana  bar  was about the size of a topic and had milk chocolate outside with pink and white coconut in side and with  red soft cherry type bits amongst the coconut .
