Sadistic killer Stephen Ling is set to be freed from prison.
The twisted murderer has been behind bars for more than 25 years after being convicted of murdering Joanne Tulip in a sickening Christmas Day attack. Ling subjected his 29-year-old victim to horrifying violence at his home in Stamfordham, Northumberland, where she was raped, and stabbed 60 times, in 1997. The killer even carved images including swastikas and crosses into her body.
But now, despite hearing that Ling still posed a risk of causing serious harm to other, the Parole Board has decided he is safe to be freed from prison and directed that he should be released.
