With hindsight, Montassib had won three of his last four races, including at Listed and Group 3 level. Now, I didn't find him but it's not like he'd been tailed off in a Cartmel seller.

I think I backed Montassib last time with 356. He was 100/1 with 'laddie'. I think the two O'baid's horses cut each other's throat up with the quick pace.

Dave Jennings tipped it up in the week and the Weaver shark tipped it just beofre the race went orfff.
