freak race did you.

By:
swifty
out of 50 races on a Saturday only 11 double figures. That's poor |
By:
can't get what's not there. worrying thing is when you think most of the money is trades, betfair aren't making much commission bar the PC p(l)ayers, makes you wonder.

By:
ronnie...
i'd suggest very few folk who play in running and do nowt else would ever start playing pre-race (on the horses) when in running finally dies imv. i certainly would not. |
By:
dats the problem roder.same as moi..cant be winning under a tenner ev race and doing thousands in...1-10p matched at every price and accommodated at your overide everytime..ive contacted action fraud.
By:
we both done it in on same race.
By:
Pre race is still perfectly doable, but takes a different approach to inplay I'm sure - I've changed my approaches many times over the years, so you just have to adapt, or stop altogether.
By:
Pre race IMO has also needed change in approach to keep successful, in different times, so those players have also had to learn different approaches, or lose or walk away.
By:
In short, very difficult to find one way of doing something in trading/betting, that just keeps working forever!
By:
of course pre race is doable, unfortunately for 99.7% it wont make ewe wealthy.
By:
I think there's a fair bit bigger % that can make a profit from it, though it's a guess of course.
It also depends how much you are aiming to make - lot easier to make smaller profits than large ones, goes without saying. |
By:
how did denise become a billionairess? through shrewd punters?
By:
There's a large bulk of punters who lose a lot, of course.
By:
yes approx 99.7%.
By:
Depends which groups I'd reckon e.g. punters who just play at online bookies vs those who use the exchanges?
By:
The first set I'd probably agree you're about close with that %
By:
My estimate for exchange players would be a bit bigger for those who can win at it.

everyone makes mistakes jamee...
part of the game. |
By:
I've been finding in-running really good especially since May.
i find that statement absolutely staggering. |
By:
don't forget jamee uses the GPS thingy Mr.Hunt...
he probably backed the winner at Brighton the other day when it was foggy until the last half a furlong... that's not having a pop btw jamee. |

Depends how you use it. Back your fancy near the off then lay off at a price that you are happy with and select keep. I reckon I get my money back on at least 50% of the ones I back. If they win then I give some back of course but overall it suits me. I didn't lay off Windlord just there as it was short already and at no time in running did I think it might get beat.

If you've paid the 55p in the distant past, why isn't available allowance showing 999.45?

ok worked out why, they give the first week as freebie, and and send the email to tell you

Not 10k matched on any single UK or Ireland race at 10am

freddie, is the prime reason bookmaker restrictions(so no arbs), PC, or the state of the economy?
By:
I wouldn't dream of having a bet 15 minutes before a race. I want the full betting picture which is the last few minutes. The old days of bookies or layers on here making large ricks hours before the race long gone.
