I really need to go back to harling. Now that's proper work!!
No joke steve I got one quid per hour for that slavery but could get 7-8 pints per one quid for the torture. These stabbers etc. have no idea whatsoever what real graft is.
It’s all relative. I could get 30 pints out of a weeks wages as an apprentice!
I was on 1 quid an hour steve. 4O notes were good wages back them. I think I cleared about 36 after deductions but that said I should have served my time given what rooferes/slaters and the harling mob get now.
