This horse was a well backed single figures chance for the Coventry, but relatively weak today.
Strange run and ride. Jock gave up very early without really fighting to hold his position, but once he's dropped out the back the horse is actually running on past beaten horses with minimal assistance from the saddle.

Time will tell. I think the way he crossed the line suggested he had plenty left in the tank. On debut he found plenty under pressure to see off the second who had travelled better. If the Coventry price, and the idea that he was the stable's best 2yo were to be believed then he should have been closer to 3/1 today not 7/1.
i'm pretty sure you will see it at 7f next time tbh...
