I have around 500 horses in my tracker. If I backed them all on their next 3 starts I reckon I'd now be Finnish.

I can't remember who was it now, but there was an "eyecatchers" column in the ? RP and the writer would advise backing the horses on their next three starts.

Suppose Rico you had High Spirited in your tracker from two runs back, been getting beat in class 4 handicaps after starting slowly but running well in the circumstances.

Turns up in a Listed race at Salisbury, no chance on the figs and trainer struggling for winners, what you gonna do regarding the 'back it blind next three starts' rule?

any horse in a tracker has to have suitable conditions nto.

Tracking / notebook / eyecatcher…..the reasons are endless….why punters mark them down…

horse running in 0-65 handicaps...

pop it in your tracker...

runs next in a Group 3 race...

Doesn’t work like that hibb….I read it most days registered,searched a runner then you have the choice to track this horse..

Next run….next 3 or 12 months….. I doubt they care if you punt the horse

Thousands of players on ATR hibb,the bookie can see what we all see…..doubtful they will track a small player like myself tbh….

I know what you mean for example the Havlin b@lls up at Newbury which probably went into a lot of notebooks,the bookies will know about it when they see it next time out…

Bookies price is on Oddschecker etc hibb, they can't adjust the price for those who happen to have it in a tracker, or for any other reason that I'm aware of. They can adjust your stake.

Doubtful they can see what a punter has tracked tbh…

It's a difficult one hibb. On debut it had a 77 hoss 21 lengths in front of it and a 71 hoss 15 lengths behind.
None of the also rans in the Southwell races have a rating. I think you'll get less than 65.

I don't think they get a mark until entered in a handicap hibb, not sure tho.

K Burke had it for 18 months before Boughey hibb. Ran over a mile on debut, perhaps will go up in trip
when handicapping.

Hugh Taylor has tipped one of George Boughey's nursery debutants today and highlights this regarding his nursery runners:

"Since the start of last year the yard has had 10 two-year-olds that made their handicap debut on their fourth start after finishing unplaced on their previous outing, and although only two of the ten won, they improved on their previous outing by an average of around 16lb (two of the ten actually went backwards on their previous form, meaning the other eight improved by an average of 22lb)."

Regarding the older handicap debutants, wasn't Boughey threatened with having to run his horses four times before getting a mark such was the improvement some of them were finding?
