I realise you live in an imaginary world Quixall but spouting hypotheticals is as much use as your tipping!!

And your alter ego obviously does not understand that Doyle had to answer questions whether he had done wrong or not, might that explain?

it's the sort of thing folk say to make it sound like they know what they are talking about aceform...

if you listen carefully the expert pundits do it constantly...

'nice page' is another one when referring to it's breeding...

'on the leg' when they see a young horse who has plenty of daylight underneath them...

it's a good soundbite aceform...

totally meaningless tho.

it's the slobbering that gets me riled tbh aceform...

journeyman jockey Dougie Costello rode a double at Newmarket yesterday...

is anyone telling me 'world class' William Buick is a far better jockey than DC ?

it's amazing how all these 'world class' jockeys are riding world class horses...

give Dougie Costello the chances Buick or Moore gets then they'd all be saying Dougie Costello is a world class jockey...

it's constant backfitting just to suck up to connections imv.
By:

When: 24 Aug 24 11:46
if Buick rode all of Costello's horses...

and Costello rode all of Buick's horses...

the expert pundits (to a man/woman) would say Costello is world class and Buick is a journeyman...

can't prove it obviously but that is my opinion.

Starts off apologising to everyone he has ever met, listen to the first 10 seconds, surprised you missed it tbh.

By:
HappyHibby
When: 24 Aug 24 11:55
it's true aceform...

the difference between a 'world class' jockey and a journeyman jockey is that the 'world class' one gets the opportunities to ride big winners...

the journeyman one doesn't (or very rarely does).

Quixall/Hibby do you ever do anything apart from 24/7 on here?
By:
HappyHibby
When: 24 Aug 24 11:58
same with trainers aceform...

a stable full of primely bred young horses...

a stable full of 0-50 handicappers...

which one has the better chance of being called 'a top class trainer' ?

So he starts the interview by saying SORRY to Punters, Connections, Sheik, and  Roger Varian, Why would he say that if he had done nothing wrong. ??  But as he never apologised ( in your head ) all is well.

Quite simply because he did not win the race GC, doesn't mean he did anything wrong as those with reasonable eyesight could see, including the stewards. Or are you also denying the visual evidence?

When: 24 Aug 24 12:11
if someone like Ian Jardine was given the same ammunition as someone like say Roger Varian...

would Jardine do better than Varian ?

who knows...

difference is one gets the  chance and the other doesn't...

even tho Jardine has won big races with his limited resources.

The horse was green but he started to ease off then the horse jinked, I think Doyle was shocked he got away with it. He should have got 28 days although in the current climate he'd be free in 10.

Doyle had already dropped his hands before horse jinked.  He should be banned no doubt about it.
