If you, as a "human," copy and paste data from reputable websites to assist in evaluating draw bias, it's essential to ensure that you're adhering to the terms of service of those websites. Typically, copying small amounts of data for personal use, such as analysis, is considered fair use, especially if you credit the source. However, avoid large-scale copying or redistribution, and always be mindful of each website's specific guidelines regarding content usage.

That's correct. Data protected behind a paywall should not be copied and distributed. However, snippets of freely available data can be used for personal analysis, and I can assist in interpreting that data if you provide it. When doing so, it's important to credit the source and ensure that the usage complies with the website's terms of service. This approach maintains ethical standards while allowing you to make informed race predictions.

If you use GPT4.o you can experiment using my template by:

Copying the 2.15 Lingfield info above and paste it into a NEW chat session.

Use this prompt: Make a placeholder template using this layout and rename it (whatever you want).

GPT should print out a template that can be used for any race.

You should save your template in text format for easy reuse.

If things go wrong, ask GPT don't ask me for support.

Enjoy the adventure! :)

Try asking chatGPT to assess the horses and give a probability in percentage of each horse winning the race.

The key to profit is value, where the percent chance of an outcome is greater than the betting odds imply. You need it to suggest probabilities not winners.

Don’t need AI and all the wiff waff just use your noggin, race between Splits Even and Electrified ( Voltage would be impressed) maybe the younger horse to win,all thumb suck though.

Yes, I have indeed asked that very question and got interesting replies.

The AI GPT4.oh Compact Betting Recommendations HRE is essentially a "bettor's tissue" as to opposed to the bookmaker's tissue. This is a common way that people with the skills and knowledge use to spot value.

All I'm doing is using the most advanced AI (IMHO) to do the work for me!

current odds 12.5--13

I think this has a greater than 8% chance of winning, Therefore I've backed it.

Sure it likely won't win, but back value vs probability and I'll win in the long term.

This is what you need ChatGPT to identify

Based on the odds movement, there are a few notable steamers in the market:

Split Elevens: Odds slightly drifted from 3.8 to 4.0, indicating moderate support, but still remains a strong contender.
Rinnovati: Showing a slight drift from 3.9 to 4.3, indicating some market resistance.
Poles Apart: Drifting from 9.4 to 11, suggesting weakening confidence.
Electrified: Odds relatively stable around 8.8 to 9.8.
Forgotten Treasure: Small drift from 10.5 to 13, indicating some market hesitation.
These odds shifts suggest Split Elevens remains a strong favourite, while support for other horses is either stable or declining.

How can we improve performance? With better data from ME or with improvements to the template?
Report askjack August 13, 2024 2:59 PM BST
To enhance performance in race predictions, there are a few approaches we could take:

1. Improving Data Quality from Market Exchange (ME):
Live Market Movements: Regular updates on odds fluctuations, especially close to race time, can provide insights into market confidence and potential steamers.

More Detailed Historical Data: Access to detailed form data, including sectional times, running styles, and pace, can refine predictions.

Trainer/Jockey Trends: Specific data on trainer and jockey performance at particular tracks or under certain conditions can offer an edge.

2. Template Improvements:
Incorporate Additional Metrics: Introducing more advanced metrics like pace analysis, weight adjustments, and track bias can add depth to the predictions.

Dynamic Updates: Allowing for real-time updates within the template, such as adjusting probabilities based on market shifts or track condition changes, can increase accuracy.

Visual Enhancements: Charts or graphs depicting odds movements or comparative performance could provide clearer insights.

3. Combining Both Approaches:
Machine Learning Integration: Leveraging machine learning models to analyse the data from ME alongside historical performance data could help identify patterns and predict outcomes more accurately.

Next Steps:
Data Partnership: Securing more detailed and live data from ME.
Template Testing: Implementing new metrics and visual aids in the template and testing them against historical race outcomes.

By combining better data inputs with a more dynamic and detailed template, we can significantly improve prediction accuracy.
